The Gospel of Mark: On Monday evening in Holy Week (29 March at 7pm), our parish will present a public reading of the entire Gospel of St. Mark, to be held in the church. The presentation lasts approximately an hour and a half, and provides a special opportunity for the people of God to enter into a contemplation of the entire narrative of the ministry and Passion of Our Lord, by hearing the Word of God proclaimed by members of our own community. We need to gather a team of about 20 volunteer readers to participate in this event. The commitment will involve some individual preparation time and attending an organizational meeting and a rehearsal (to be scheduled). Previous experience as a lector is helpful but not required, and anyone who is interested in participating is asked to contact Fr. Tammearu or Andrew Santos.

Join us for a one-day conference at Saint Justin's that you'll never forget, from our friends at
The Faith Explained Seminars (
www.thefaithexplained.com).
We will explore the concept of
relativism, so pervasive in our society today, which claims that truth does not exist, and that there is no one system of belief superior to any other. How do we as Catholics respond, who follow Jesus as "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6)? Speakers include Cale Clarke, Director of The Faith Explained Seminars, Dr. Leslie Tomory of the University of Toronto, and Anthony Schratz, director of Ernescliff College at the University of Toronto.
